+14% checkout conversion
in every market.
Lumen Apparel is a direct-to-consumer brand that ships to 23 countries. After switching to MondialPay, their international checkout conversion rose in every single market they sell into.
The problem
Lumen was growing fast in the US but stalling in Europe and Asia. Checkout analytics showed a painful pattern — shoppers added items to their cart, started checkout, and then abandoned when they didn't see their preferred local payment method.
The fix
MondialPay's Payment Gateway auto-detects each shopper's country and shows only the methods that convert in that market. iDEAL in the Netherlands. Klarna in Germany. UPI in India. Pix in Brazil. The engineering work was one config file.
The result
Checkout conversion lifted 14% on average across all markets. In Germany alone it rose 22%. Lumen's international revenue doubled in six months without changing any marketing spend.
"The biggest surprise was how much money we were leaving on the table. We thought our funnel was tight — turns out we were losing a quarter of European carts to missing payment methods."
