When we set out to redesign the MondialPay API, we had one goal: make it the API developers actually want to use. This post covers the decisions we made and the tradeoffs we accepted.

Idempotency everywhere

Every POST request accepts an Idempotency-Key. Retry safely, always.

Real-time webhooks

Webhooks fire in under 100ms from the event, with at-least-once delivery and automatic retry on failure.
